Dr. Shrikrishna D. Deshmukh – fondly known as Dr. Kākā – is a revered spiritual teacher and exponent of Advaita Vedānta, hailing from Murguḍ, a small town in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur district. Before devoting himself fully to spiritual teaching, he served for many years as a Medical Practitioner, earning deep respect for his selfless and exemplary care.
